How to use the Comparison Feature

The Comparison Feature on the Biomaterial Marketplace is a powerful tool that enables buyers to make informed decisions by directly comparing multiple products based on their specifications and characteristics. Whether you are evaluating biomaterials, medical devices, or related products, this feature helps you identify the best options for your specific needs.

With the Comparison Feature, users can:

• Select Multiple Products: Add products to the comparison tool with a single click.
• Side-by-Side Analysis: View product attributes such as dimensions, material composition, coatings, sterility, weight, and more in a structured table.
• Highlight Key Differences: Quickly identify variations in specifications to determine which product aligns best with your requirements.
• Make Data-Driven Decisions: Compare technical specifications transparently to choose the best solution for your medical or research applications.

This feature streamlines the selection process, reducing research time and allowing for more efficient procurement. By providing a clear overview of product properties, the Comparison Feature ensures that buyers can confidently select the most suitable biomaterials or medical devices for their applications.

How to Compare Products on the Biomaterial Marketplace

1. Find the Products You Want to Compare
   • Browse through the marketplace and explore different biomaterials, medical devices, hardware/equipment or software solutions.
2. Click the “Compare” Button

When you find a product you want to compare, simply click on the Compare button.

• Clicking the Compare button will turn it green, indicating that the product has been successfully added to your comparison list.

To open the Comparison List, click the COMPARISON button located in the purple bar at the top of the website, next to the search bar.

3. Compare Products by Category

• The marketplace automatically groups products by category, such as implants, polymers, or equipment, ensuring you can compare relevant products without them getting mixed up. Different category/comparison groups are displayed as tabs at the top of the comparison list. Click on the tabs to switch between category groups

4. View a Side-by-Side Comparison

• Once you’ve selected multiple products, the system will display them in a side-by-side format.
• Key attributes such as dimensions, material, coating, colour, sterility, and biodegradability are shown for easy comparison.

5. Identify Key Differences

• With the comparison table, you can easily spot product differences and select the one that suits your requirements best.

6. Make an Informed Decision

• With all relevant specifications clearly displayed, you can confidently choose the best product for your application.
